Taco Tuesday Open Play
Tuesday nights at the WRC are for open play and tacos. Drop in, get on court, and play as much or as little as you like across the evening — all levels welcome, no partner needed and nothing to organise in advance.
The Café is serving tacos alongside, so you can rotate off court, eat, and get straight back on.
When: Every Tuesday
Time: 5:00 – 9:00 PM
Pricing: $18 for WRC members | $25 for non-members
Wednesday MLP League
Our Wednesday night league now runs in the MLP (Major League Pickleball) team format. Teams are drawn into pools and play a set of matches each night, with results carried through the block. No DUPR account is required.
Players sign up under a team name, and each player registers and pays individually for the full block. Subs are welcome if you are not on a team — get in touch with the front desk and we will do our best to place you.
When: Every Wednesday
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Format: 4 week team block
Pricing: $147 per player for the block | $105 for WRC members
Sign up via mywrc.ca/pbleague. A team access code is required to register — your team captain will have it.
Pickleball Social
Our Thursday evening social is the most relaxed night on the pickleball calendar. A friendly round-robin mixer where the emphasis is on meeting people and getting plenty of play, with a WRC coach on hand to split the courts by level so every game is a good one.
Stick around afterwards — the patio and bar are open, and it is as much a social as it is a session.

Friday Night Pickleball
Join us for Friday Night Pickleball at the WRC — an evening of great on-court play and off-court après in a fun, social round-robin format. This is the perfect way to meet and mix with other players in the Whistler pickleball community while enjoying a relaxed, well-organized atmosphere.
WRC coaches will be on court, rotating through play and helping divide courts by level to ensure balanced, enjoyable games for everyone.
Session Options (Every Friday)
5:00–7:00pm – Round-Robin Mixer
Please note: drink tokens are valid only on the night of your registered session and cannot be deferred.
Level (Mixers): 2.0–4.0
Pricing: $22 for WRC members | $32 for non-members
Please note: The mixer is not suitable for complete beginners. Players must have a clear understanding of pickleball fundamentals and some playing experience.
Sunday Mixed Ladder
Sign up via mywrc.ca/pbleague
Sign up as a pair, one man and one woman per team, for the nights you want to play. No DUPR account needed — this ladder is club only.
Play as a doubles team and move up or down the courts through the evening based on your results. Win and climb, lose and slide down, so you stay matched against players of a similar level all night.
Your position on the ladder is built from your own results on the night, and settles in over your first couple of weeks.
When: Every Sunday
Time: 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Format: One-game matches using rally scoring. Courts are seeded by ladder position, with winners moving up a court and losers moving down after each round.
Pricing: $22.50 for WRC members | $32.50 for non-members
(If you are a member and joining league for the first time, please email the front desk team via info@mywrc.ca to receive the discount code to apply at checkout. The same code can be used every week to redeem the membership rate for league play.)
Pickled Sunday Funday
A relaxed Sunday session of open play in the late morning. Drop in, get on court, and play as much or as little as you like. All levels welcome, no partner needed and nothing to organise in advance.
When: Every Sunday
Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Wondering what level you are?
Follow our guide below or book a private lesson with one of the WRC coaches for a level assessment!
Beginner: You are a pickleball novice with no playing experience & little understanding of the rules. We highly recommend our ‘Pickleball 101’ 4 week courses to get you up to speed with the fundamentals of pickleball!
Blue: Players have completed intro clinics and know the rules and how to score but are less experienced and looking for a more supportive environment (2.0 - 3.0 rating)
Red: Players are at a solid intermediate level with a lot of matchplay & some tournament experience (3.0 - 3.5 rating)
Black: Players are at a strong intermediate to advanced level with a lot of tournament and competitive league matchplay experience (3.5 - 4.0 rating)
Double Black: Players are at an advanced level and regularly compete in tournaments / leagues at 4.0 level or higher.
